This simple-to-build, simple to use configuration can be used to get internal and external temperature, humidity and light information collected, as well as temperature data from the fish-tanks.
It is currently offered for DIY assembly (however upon request some members can help you out with assembling the device) and is really the first step to get involved with our project
Core Hardware
•1x Arduino Mega 2560
•1x W5100 EtherShield
Order these from the Official Arduino Store to get original Arduino parts in your Node and the same time support the Arduino Team that does an outstanding job bringing microelectronics closer to people.
Sensors
•2x DHT-22 Sensors for monitoring internal and external temperature & humidity
•2x submersible DS18B20 Sensors for monitoring water and heat buffer temperatures
•1x SEA YF-S201 hall-effect flow-sensor for checking if the pump is running
•2x Photoresistors for measuring internal and external light conditions
