Network-based Wireless for Remote Monitoring Lead-Acid Battery(WizFi210)

The authors develop a data acquisition system to monitor state of charge (SOC) the lead acid battery in electric folk. The wireless networks is used as the backbone networks while sensor and microcontroller are assigned to provide and to process the data. In experimental result, the data such as temperature, humidity and voltage are presented and displayed on server monitor.

In this paper, they proposed remote monitoring for lead-acid battery in electric folk where Wi-Fi technology is developed as the backbone networks.

The block diagram of the proposed scheme is presented in above.

Battery monitoring system are composed voltage sensor (BQ34z110), temperature and humidity sensor (Chip cap-D), microcontroller AT-Mega 128 and WizFi210 from WIZnet.
