Arduino Weather Station Data Analysis

details

This project is about DIY weather station.

As the Open Source Hardware platforms has been spread, it’s a lot easier to build your own weather station. With fickle New England weather, the author decided to build a weather station and use MATLAB to analyze the data.  The system will answer to below questions

  • What direction was the wind blowing during the last 3 hours?
  • How have the temperature and dew point varied over the last week?
  • Does the barometric pressure really fall as a rain storm approaches?

For this project, below hardware parts are mainly used.

This Arduino was connected to the Internet and the data sent to a free data aggregation service, ThingSpeak.com.

If you visit original posting, you can understand how to build up the system step by step. Please visit below link.
