Monitor your room from anywhere in the world

1. Project Description

The author for this project made smart device to monitor his room. This interactive device will let him know if anything happens in his house. This device can send the room status to his smart phone through cloud – Thingspeak.

2. Parts

  • Arduino UNO
  • Arduino Ethernet shield
  • Ultrasonic distance sensor (You can use a PIR sensor, if you want to. I don’t have one so used distance sensor)
  • DHT11, temperature and relative humidity sensor
  • Gas sensor (MQ-2)
  • OLED display (optional)
  • Servo motor (This is optional, I used this to mount the distance sensor and screen the room while rotating)
  • Jumper wires
