MOTORIZED WINDOW BLINDS

I would like to introduce Bithead’s motorized window blinds project. The author controls the motorized window blinds using Arduino Ethernet.

He implements the HTTP server on the arduino ethernet and controls moterized window blinds with web browser.

This project provides the following features:

1. At dawn, raise the blinds to let in light.
2. At dusk, lower the blinds to provide privacy.
3. If the room gets too warm, close the blinds to provide some shade.
4. When the room returns to a target temperature, open the blinds again to let light in.
5. When the house is unoccupied, lower the blinds for privacy.

Following video shows how to automate window shades.
