When author first saw a broadcast video from a controllable webcam, he was very impressed. So much so, that he wanted to arrange something similar. He don’t have spare money to buy cameras like AXIS 214PTZ, so he had to leave the idea for some time. Until he found out about Arduino and the fact that it is possible to attach a “network card” and motors to it. The required accessories were quickly purchased and he got hold of all the components necessary to build of a full-fledged network controlled webcam.
