Maker Project: Creating a Garage Door Opener

Have you ever wanted to control your garage door from your smartphone? By using a basic Arduino Uno, an Ethernet Shield, and a Relay Module, you can open and close your garage door from your smartphone too, from anywhere in the world (granted you have internet access!).

This article is a tutorial to control the garage door using Arduino and Ethernet shield.

Inside his garage there is a button for opening the door. He used this button as a relay connected to the Arduino.

And Arduino is working as a Web server, and he makes it possible to control the garage door on his smart phone.
