Over the years, a remote has always been the quintessential device used to control the appliances which involve IR protocols. While controlling a device that works on the IR technology, the remote play a vital role as it contains the IR transmitter. It sends IR commands to the device to be controlled. The device takes in the encrypted command from the infrared remote and the receiver decrypts the command for the device to operate to send the encoded version of the code in order to control the device. But the problem starts when we lost this remote and In the absence of the remote, it becomes difficult to control the device. The problem can be solved by using a mobile phone that has an inbuilt IR blaster integrated within but the downside is that they are very expensive. To overcome this, a module has been developed that cuts down the cost to a great extent. This Circuit was built using WIZ750SR, Arduino and involves the usage of MQTT broker.
