Shoguino is an module with Atmega64a MCU. This board may be used in almost all cases, where regular Arduino UNO may be used. It may be programmed by Arduino enviroment. Most shields are compatible with this board. In addition, it offers set of unique features.
Integrated Wiznet W5500 Ethernet controller is built in into the Shoguino. Board may be supplied from 3.3V to 24V, so You can use it with wide range of power supplies. It have two overcurrent protected 1A MOSFET outputs, so e.g. relays or LED strips may be driven directly from the board without any additional modules. It have high accuracy Real Time Clock and CR2032 battery socket for 8 years of time keeping. Events may be time-triggered even if there is no Internet connection. 2 mega bytes of external flash memory allows to store additional data. USB may be used for power supply, programming, logs download and configuration.
If you are making Your own board, you can use it vertical position in the standard PCI-E 1x Socket, or horizontal using goldpin connectors – solder it, or plug it in, whatever you prefer.
